Job Title : Supply Chain Analyst

Location : Plano, TX 75024 or Long Beach, CA 90802 (Hybrid)

  • Plano, TX : Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
  • Long Beach, CA : Hybrid – 2 days in-office, 3 days remote

Employment Type : Direct Hire

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Salary Range : $65,000 – $95,000 (based on experience)

  • Bonus : Discretionary bonus eligible

    About the Role

    Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst on behalf of our client. This direct-hire opportunity is available in either Plano, TX or Long Beach, CA and offers a flexible hybrid schedule based on location. The ideal candidate will support the Business Development team with a focus on data-driven analysis and supply chain strategy.

    This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, solutions-oriented, and fluent in Japanese (spoken, with basic to moderate written proficiency). You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and client stakeholders to evaluate supply chain operations, improve efficiency, and support long-term strategic goals.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customers' supply chain and logistics strategies including sourcing, production, inventory, and distribution.
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement; develop tailored solutions in collaboration with sales and operational teams.
  • Evaluate costs associated with various supply chain functions and recommend strategies for optimization and savings.
  • Prepare detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Support new service implementation and provide training to internal teams as needed.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships through both in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support new business development and service delivery.
  • Provide regular updates and activity reports to the Department Manager.
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken Japanese ; basic to moderate written Japanese proficiency required (will be screened).
  • 4–5 years of supply chain experience required, preferably in logistics, inventory, or supplier management.
  • Strong Excel skills required (advanced formulas, data manipulation).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision making.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience creating training materials or onboarding documentation.
  • Understanding of both domestic and international logistics operations.
  • Exposure to macros or automation tools within Excel.
