Position Highlights :

Join an established and collaborative team of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists in a vibrant city-owned, nonprofit hospital serving as a full-service regional hub for cardiovascular and surgical services. This is a unique opportunity to practice 100% cardiothoracic anesthesia with a focus on structural heart cases.

• 100% Cardiothoracic & Structural Heart
• Collaborate with two full-time and one part-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists
• Experience in Cardiothoracic & Transesophageal Echocardiogram required
• Excellent work-life balance : rarely exceed 40 hours per week
• Cover 2 Cardiac Surgeons & Cardiac Lab
• Over 300+ open-heart surgeries annually
• Work in state-of-the-art ICU facilities : 30-bed Open ICU / 16-bed CVICU
• Utilizes Paragon EMR system
• Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center
• Supported by full-service hospitalists, neuro-hospitalists, and pediatric hospitalists
• No trauma designation; ED sees 53,000 patients per year
• 1 : 2 Call : second day & second weekend coverage

Cardiac cases typically end by 1-2 PM, with 50% of all cases done by 5 PM
