Pediatrician Opening - Athens, AL Huntsville - 26m Loan repayment of 50K for 3 years (150K total) awarded to physicians in rural practice provided through the state of Alabama Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Mostly outpatient, no call- Employed Private practice- Join 1 DO on staff and 3 NPs- Each provider has their own MA- in the process of hiring a floater. Four receptionists. An office manager that oversees day-to-day operations of the practice. Group does not currently have any scribes.- Perfect candidate will be able to come in and absorb a full patient base, be a pillar of the community, and have a "no child turned away" attitude.- Schedules are flexible and open for negotiations! Rotating Saturdays from 8-12 is possible in the future, as we have found that adding Saturday hours is a WONDERFUL service to the community and would like to gradually do that. We do offer evening hours as well, so lots of room for flexible schedules.- Physician only has to be present for emergency C-Section delivery if requested by OB. - Newborn and Peds Inpatient rounding, admissions of patients seen in office that require hospitalization.- Currently, call is equally split between three Pediatricians.- Minimum averaging 20 patients per day. But needs to have the willingness and ability to see 25 per day.- EMR : Azalea Location - Athens, the county seat, is one of the fastest growing cities in Alabama. - Limestone County is situated at the crossroads of technology and innovation. - A highly-educated workforce and attractive business incentives fuel industry growth in multiple sectors, including areospace, advanced manufacturing, automotive, biotechnology and robotics. - A central location on I-65, US Hwy 72, and US Hwy 31, places the county near Huntsville and less than 100 miles from Birmingham, Chattanooga and Nashville; offering the advantage of convenient and expedient travel.- Situated in the heart of the Tennessee Valley among the rolling Appalachian foothills, the County also offers the best in Southern living. - Regional attractions include 17 hiking trails, beautiful antebellum homes, and myriad festivals, rodeos, and museums in addition to its friendly people and progressive communities. Compensation & Benefits - 220k Base salary - Base salary is guaranteed. Bonus structure is production based and comes into play when provider is seeing, on average, more than 25 patients per day. Sign-on bonus of $20k. Relocation up to $10k - Health Insurance- Annual CME Allowance- Malpractice Insurance- 401K + 4% Employer Match- NHSC Loan Repayment - 18 PTO Days- 6.5 Paid Holidays Ideal Candidate - Team Player with positive attitude that provides exceptional patient care to children, organized, fun and friendly, comfortable collaborating with NP, flexible, good communicator, able to close charts within 96 hours at most. About the Group - Owner of the practice has been established for more than 10 years and owns 5 pediatric offices in North Alabama. - If candidate is available to work prior to practice opening for operation, we would ask candidate to work four days per week as a Locums at one of the other clinics. This will allow the new physician to train and begin to establish a routine that can carry over to the new office in Troy once opened.
