Bill Rate : $18.88 SCA min + $4.93 H&W = $23.81 hourly

Job Summary :

Aptive is seeking qualified Medical Technicians (Phlebotomists) to provide laboratory services at the VA Maine Healthcare System (Togus VA Medical Center). The selected candidates will be responsible for performing phlebotomy, specimen processing, and laboratory support services for inpatient and outpatient settings, including the Emergency Department (ED).

Work Schedule :

Phlebotomists will work Day, Evening, and limited Weekend / Holiday shifts (NO Night shifts). Shift options include :

• Days : 5 : 30 AM - 2 : 00 PM | 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM | 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, etc.
• Evenings : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM | 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM | 12 : 00 PM - 8 : 30 PM, etc.
• Overtime may be required, but on-call or standby duties are NOT required.
• All contract personnel must sign in and out daily, with hours tracked by the Laboratory Manager or designee.
• The VA may discontinue use of contracted staff with two weeks' notice if positions are filled by permanent employees or contracted staff are no longer required.
