  • Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Emergency Room (Level 4 ER), with 50 / 50 float to Med Surg\n
  • Assignment Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 11 / 4 / 2025 – End : 2 / 3 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every 3rd weekend\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020\n
  • Unit Details : 17 beds, ER patient ratio 4 : 1, ER averages 8-12 patients / day\n
  • Charting System : Cerner PowerChart\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Iowa or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience\n
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC\n
  • Ability to float between ER and Med Surg units (50 / 50 split)\n
  • Strong clinical support, communication, and teamwork skills\n

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a Level 4 Emergency Room and Med Surg setting\n
  • Assess, triage, and manage patients in the ER department\n
  • Float to Med Surg unit as needed, providing comprehensive nursing care\n
  • Monitor patient status and document care using Cerner PowerChart\n
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members\n
  • Respond to emergencies and provide trauma care as required\n
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices\n
