About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Level 2 Radiology MRI

Specialty : RADLVL2 : MRI Tech

Duration : 12 months

Shift : 4x10

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : ARRT certification required

Certifications : AHA BLS required

Must-Have : Pediatric experience required

Description :

Tuesday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM.

Analyzing patient histories and completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries involving metal objects.

Preparing and administering contrast dyes.

Addressing patients' concerns and ensuring their comfort during scans.

Performing regular inspections of MRI equipment and scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed.

Positioning patients and completing MRI scans according to physicians' specifications.

Ensuring MRI rooms are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.

Training junior MRI technologists and providing support to new staff.

Writing reports and escalating any problems to relevant stakeholders.

Carrying out quality assurance procedures and implementing improvements as required.

Friday to Monday, 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM (4x10) work schedule.

Experience with GE equipment is highly desired.
