Job Description

As a Certified Medical Assistant at MUSC, your responsibilities will include :

• Interviewing patients and recording vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Maintaining accurate medical records by inputting information smoothly into patient charts.
• Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Utilizing basic computer skills to manage patient information efficiently.
• Participating in annual competency training to ensure high standards of care.
• Understanding and following detailed instructions in therapeutic procedures, while providing accurate physical observation of patients.
• Demonstrating effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
