Production Planner / Scheduler

The Production Planner / Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and prioritizing workflow across multiple CNC work centers and production teams to ensure the timely and efficient movement of products through the manufacturing cycle, meeting customer requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of responding effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual must possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and collaborate with others to achieve production goals. Proficiency in Excel and problem-solving skills are essential. The position reports directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

• Production Scheduling & Planning :

Develop and maintain production schedules for various units and personnel to ensure customer orders are completed on time.

Collaborate daily with production supervisors, shipping supervisors, and managers to communicate production goals, prioritize workflow, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to keep the process on schedule.

Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to streamline operations.

Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to align outside supplier schedules and ensure on-time delivery of outsourced items.

Review shipping schedules regularly to ensure production aligns with capacity and revenue targets.

Keep the Production Manager, VP of Operations, and other key personnel informed of any significant issues or changes in production status.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or VP of Operations
