LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Cardiology MD in Nampa, Idaho, 83652!

About The Position

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Nampa, Idaho. This inpatient-only position is ideal for a physician experienced with a full range of interventional cardiology procedures. Enjoy working in a Trauma Level II facility with a collaborative team and robust support services.

Assignment Details :

  • Shift Type : 24-Hour Call
  • Schedule : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 AM
  • Setting : Inpatient-only
  • Facility Designation : Level II Trauma Center
  • Beds :

18 ICU beds

  • 18 Telemetry beds
  • 10 CMU beds
  • Average Daily Volume :

    • 3 consults / day

  • 2 procedures / day

    • Duties Include :

  • Cardiology inpatient consults
  • Interventional procedures including :

    • Balloon pumps

  • Coronary stents
  • IVUs and IFR (Intracoronary imaging and physiology)
  • TEEs (Transesophageal echocardiograms) highly preferred
  • Coordination with ICU and cardiology team
  • Emergency response as needed

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology – REQUIRED
  • Active Idaho medical license – or active IMLC eligibility
  • COVID-19 Vaccination – REQUIRED
  • DEA License in good standing
