Job Summary and Responsibilities

Facilitates decision making in performance improvement peer review and medical staff physician reappointment by providing information tracking trending and reporting data on patient care related concerns. Creates methods to extract data from various collection points and bring them into a coherent tool for analysis by hospital staff. Works in a team environment to design build data fields to support various reporting and research initiatives. Responsible for clinical database management training and utilization of various databases used to support performance improvement activities.

Complex abstract problem solving capabilities to maintain system-wide functions. Understanding of the complexities of the health care environment. Comfortable as a team member and informational leader. Demonstrated ability to manage develop plan and deliver projects with minimal direction. High level of initiative and strong business judgment.

Works well under pressure while completing tasks quickly and accurately. Strong analytical abilities organization and project / process management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve goals. Ability to apply creative thinking to service line themes content and strategic solutions in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor; team player orientation. Ability to interface with internal / external partners at all levels. Ability to communicate in a professional and articulate manner. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

This position that works primarily with the Cardiology / CV Surgery physicians.

Job Requirements

Minimum :

Five (5) years healthcare experience.

  • Facilitator skills.
  • Skilled planning organizing communicating cooperating delegating and working without direct supervision.

Proficient in Word Excel and Powerpoint.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing business healthcare administration or related area.

Preferred : CT PHQ RN
