• Utilize the Synergy Model to support, supervise, and evaluate newly hired clinical staff during their first 90 to 180 days on the unit.
• Act within the nurse-patient, nurse-nurse, and nurse-system spheres to improve patient care and team performance.
• Facilitate a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach in delivering comprehensive healthcare in the Medical-Surgical specialty.
• Promote excellence in nursing care by implementing clinical standards of practice and establishing competency benchmarks for nursing staff.
• Mentor and coach nursing teams, providing ongoing education and professional development.
• Evaluate patient care practices and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance clinical outcomes.
• Support policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and workflow enhancements in collaboration with leadership teams.
