Summary

The PR & Communication Specialist manages internal and external communications to increase visibility for our brands—Alliance, Galaxy, and Primex. This role develops and executes communication strategies, manages relationships with PR agencies, and crafts compelling stories that engage stakeholders across multiple platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of key messages, playing a vital role in shaping the company’s reputation and brand presence.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management to secure priority placements for new product stories in both digital and print media.
  • Partner with sales to communicate updates on OEM conversions and aftermarket distribution expansion.
  • Develop and share employee-focused and softer brand narratives that strengthen internal culture and external reputation.
  • Execute best practices for internal, leadership, and corporate communications.
  • Contribute to external PR strategy development, ensuring alignment with global and regional business objectives.
  • Localize corporate messaging for consistent application across all media and stakeholder groups.
  • Support crisis communication efforts, assisting senior management with effective and timely issue management.
  • Maintain a PR calendar and liaise with agencies to ensure priority story placements.
  • Keep internal audiences informed on key company developments.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications, including both internal and external communications, preferably within multinational companies or PR agencies.
  • Strong expertise in corporate communications, employee engagement, media relations, PR campaigns, and crisis management.
  • Proficiency with digital and social media platforms and content development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills under time pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience localizing global communication strategies for regional application.
  • Demonstrated success in managing PR agencies and media relations to secure high-impact placements.
  • Proven creative thinker with a track record of generating innovative communication ideas.
  • Proven involvement in corporate crisis response and issue management
