TCI is seeking a reliable, detail-driven Dispatcher to serve as the critical communication link between drivers, customers, and internal teams. If you thrive in high-paced environments, can calmly manage logistics challenges in real time, and have a strong command of Excel and dispatch systems , we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Coordinate Operations : Supervise and manage a fleet of drivers, ensuring on-time, DOT-compliant deliveries.
Dispatch Mastery : Manage our load board in McLeod , accept EDI’s, close loads, and ensure seamless live dispatch flow.
Tracking & Visibility : Use McLeod and Samsara to track driver movement and proactively resolve delays.
Documentation & Admin : Scan, upload, and manage documentation using various software platforms.
Customer and Driver Support : Build rapport, troubleshoot delivery issues, and maintain excellent communication across all channels.
Fleet Performance Management : Monitor productivity, legal HOS, safety protocols, and overall planning efficiency.
Collaborate & Coordinate : Partner with external freight vendors and internal operations teams to meet daily goals.
What You Bring to the Table
Bilingual : Spanish proficiency is a strong plus!
Tech-Savvy : Experience with dispatch software (especially McLeod), fleet tracking, and digital documentation tools.
Cool Under Pressure : Stay composed during high-pressure situations and respond swiftly to operational changes.
Strong Communication : Excellent verbal and written skills to interact clearly with drivers, customers, and your team.
DOT & OSHA Familiarity : Understanding transportation regulations is a bonus.
