Title : Industrial Maintenance Technician II
Employment : Full time
Compensation : $28 per hour
Location : Onsite — Mundelein, IL 60060
Shift : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 a.m.–4 : 00 p.m.

Purpose of the Position

Perform routine through moderately complex maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Core Responsibilities

Apply hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring / testing instruments to service machinery according to diagrams, blueprints, sketches, operation manuals, and OEM specifications.

Conduct basic to moderately complex preventive maintenance on plant assets.

Diagnose equipment faults and repair breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Resolve moderately complex mechanical issues; escalate advanced problems to higher-level staff.

Comply with Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards; strictly follow LOTO procedures.

Complete process documentation and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

Typically 2+ years of relevant experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently on well-defined tasks; growing confidence executing repairs with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualification

Powered Industrial Equipment Certification

Skills & Competencies

Manufacturing support; equipment monitoring, maintenance, and repair

Hand tool proficiency and strong troubleshooting capability

Process documentation accuracy

Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)

Team collaboration and precise interpretation of work instructions

Strong manual dexterity; ability to move and lift heavy objects

Physical Demands

Lift and push / pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly

Stand for long durations; frequent bending and stooping

Manipulate small parts with dexterity

Operate in noisy environments, confined spaces, and from elevated platforms
