Kahala Brands, a globally recognized leader in quick-service restaurant franchising located in beautiful Scottsdale Arizona, currently has an opportunity for a POS Help Desk - Support Analyst to join the headquarters team. Kahala franchisees and partners operate a portfolio of many quick-service restaurant brands including Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie, TacoTime and Baja Fresh, among others, in over 20 countries around the world.

As a POS Help Desk - Support Analyst you would be part of the team that is responsible for supporting the hardware and software needs of the operational teams at Kahala Management LLC. You will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills that allow you communicate well with all types of individuals. As a part of the Kahala team, it is imperative to have a positive demeanor and represent the team well in a supportive role. A successful candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware, software and end user technical issues and be able to use problem-solving skills to suggest and implement solutions that help the teams do their jobs better.

POS SYSTEMS ANALYST KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides professional and courteous phone support that will ensure the highest level of franchisee service and satisfaction.
  • Accurately logs records of all support call issues including problem descriptions, resolution, troubleshooting methods and conversations with franchisees.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots software, hardware and procedural problems.
  • Verifies daily sales reporting.
  • Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the Focus POS software, including front of house, back of house and communication network.

  • Prior experience working at a help desk or in a customer service / tech support environment is preferred
  • Schedule flexibility, evenings and weekends required
  • POS SYSTEMS ANALYST KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Service Desk / Call center experience a plus
  • Proficient with Windows 10, Windows 7 and networking
  • Expert at demonstrating patience, even in the most trying of circumstances
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Efficiently handle a high volume of calls and direct inquiries
  • Desire to help others and share knowledge with other team members
  • Restaurant / Quick Service experience is desirable
