Be the pillar of child welfare : provide essential clerical support and exceptional customer service ensuring children and families receive the service they deserve.
Summary of Duties
As an Office Specialist 2 you will :
Provide general clerical support to child welfare caseworkers and supervisors.
Ensures the timely production of all payments in compliance with policy and procedural requirements.
Ensure forms and letters are in accordance with ODHS policy and procedures.
Process paperwork and payments that guarantee documentation of responsible services to clients and consumers.
Perform administrative general office and record processing activities to ensure timely and accurate support service.
Actively seek to achieve the ODHS goals of integrity stewardship responsibility respect and professionalism service equity and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding word processing or other experience generating documents; OR
An associate degree in any field; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions
Your work will take place in the Bend Child Welfare office.
Employees work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm PT.
You will interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and may exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions.
