We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our assurance practice in our New York City office. This individual will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising staff and delivering high-quality assurance services. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base, including manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and other commercial sectors.

Essential Duties :

• Lead and execute audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Work on a variety of clients ranging in size, industry, and complexity — including manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and other commercial sectors.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards.
• Assist with engagement budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
• Review the work of staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
• Ensure engagement manager and partner is updated timely on all aspects of the engagement.
• Perform technical research as required.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, demonstrating exceptional service and professionalism.
• Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and apply knowledge to engagements.
• Proactively participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications :

Compensation & Benefits :

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
