Geotechnical Engineer - Project Manager

) is currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects throughout Michigan and select mid-west marketplaces.

The ideal candidate we are seeking would have substantial experience (8+ years) in geotechnical engineering, specializing in the oversight of projects related to transportation, structural, and water resources infrastructure.

Responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of projects from conception to completion; including identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with clients on project deliverables, performing field investigations, managing laboratory activities and handling project administration tasks like budgeting and invoicing. You will additionally be called upon to provide leadership and guidance to staff and field engineers to ensure a collaborative working environment and on-time delivery of projects.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree in Geological Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. A Professional Engineering (PE) certification is required. Candidates with the ability to obtain PE registration within one year of employment will be considered. Must have excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Please note this role will require a willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments as necessary.
