Radiology Technologist (SAN ANTONIO)

POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Makes independent value judgments when supervision is not available. Assumes responsibility for achieving quality work, setting up patient load and maintaining schedules. Has individual responsibility for specified CT procedures. Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently. Complies with instructions from the supervisor to who is responsible. Maintains good working relationships with co-workers and other University Health employees, patients, doctors, and guests.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, and Licensed by the State of Texas (MRT) is required. One year of experience as a registered radiology technologist with a working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.
