The Opportunity :

As a Remote Psychiatrist with Avel eCare, you will play a crucial role in our Behavioral Health service line, providing expert evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans primarily in emergency settings, a unique chance to make a significant impact on patient lives, offering critical support and guidance when it's needed most, all while enjoying the benefits of a fully remote practice.

• Twelve 12-hour shifts per month. Shifts may be 7 : 00AM-7 : 00PM or 7 : 00PM-7 : 00AM, CST.

Qualifications :

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of Psychiatry residency training.
• Board Eligible in Psychiatry required; Board Certified in Psychiatry preferred (or must be Board Certified within 5 years of start date).
• Active Florida medical license required.
• Must be located in the state of Florida or within 50 miles of the Florida state border.
• Ability to provide at least two years of case study documentation reflecting relevant clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

• IMLC credential or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with telemedicine or comfort in a virtual care setting preferred.
