Description :

Unit highlights include patient care within a 16-bed unit.

Patient ratios are estimated at 1 : 2 based on acuity and skills.

Assignments are determined by patient acuity and nursing skills.

All standard ICU equipment is utilized, including ventilators and cardiac output monitors.

Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is preferred.

Flexible scheduling is required, with shifts planned a month in advance.

Floating may be necessary as needed.

Candidates should have experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocol.

Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.

Procedures performed on the unit include central line placements, thoracentesis, and intubations.

Surgical patient experience, particularly in oncology, is required.

Dress code for RNs is royal blue scrubs.

Nail policy states that nails must be clean and healthy, with no artificial nails allowed.

Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors.

Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed.

Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.

Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Attendance policies will be strictly followed.
