Job Title : Locum - Physician - OB / GYN

Requirements :

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB / GYN : Candidates must be certified or truly eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, ensuring competency in providing comprehensive care to women.

WA License or IMLC : A valid Washington state medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required. Having a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) on hand is necessary for seamless licensing.

BLS and DEA Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications are mandatory to ensure readiness to handle emergency situations and prescribe medications responsibly.

Clean Malpractice / Background : Candidates with a clean malpractice and background record are highly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to quality care and ethical practice standards.

Local Availability : Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the Tenino, WA area and do not require flights for commuting, ensuring ease of access to the facility and prompt response to patient needs.

Availability Requirements :

Candidates must provide availability for open dates, including specifying how many ongoing shifts per month they can offer, enabling effective scheduling and coverage planning.

Shift Details :

Average Call Back Hours : Expectation of 4-8 hours for call back responsibilities, ensuring timely response to patient needs outside of regular shifts.

All Locations : The position involves 24-hour call shifts from 7 am to 7 am across three locations, reflecting the commitment to round-the-clock care for patients.

Call Frequency : With a call frequency of five to six calls per month, with a minimum of five, physicians will play a crucial role in providing on-call support for obstetric and gynecological emergencies.

Clinic Days : When clinic coverage is needed, the facility seeks 4-6 clinic days per month. Clinic days should be booked in advance to facilitate scheduling, ideally during the same time period as call days but not on the same day or the day after a 24-hour call, ensuring a balanced workload for providers.
