Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $1,492 per week in Denton, TX

Job Title : RN Med / Surg Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting License : Active RN License Certifications : None required Must-Have : Previous med / surg nursing experience in an acute care setting Description : Travel position for RN Med / Surg. This role is for a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has a total of 46 beds and approximately 70 staff members. During the day shift, the staff includes 1 charge nurse, 1 unit secretary, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs. Patient ratios are 1 : 5-6 during the day and 1 : 6 at night. The unit utilizes EMR technology. Candidates with Meditech experience will be prioritized. The ideal candidate is a team player, willing to jump in, and able to ask questions when unsure of processes. Self-scheduling is allowed within reason, with rotating weekends required.
