Job Description :

• Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
• Test new recipes
• Clean the kitchen; put away / organize food deliveries
• Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary.
• Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order
• Assist in supervising dietary staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Assist with resident nutritional assessments and participate in care plans as needed
• Provide in-services education and training to dietary staff
• Act as department head in absence of the Dietary Manager
