Family Law Attorney

Baxter Law is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 2+ years of family law experience to join our team in the beautiful Old Mill District of Bend, Oregon. Key Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in family law matters, including litigation, negotiation, and mediation
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage caseload with a high level of independence while collaborating with the team
• Requirements :
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Oregon
• Strong understanding of legal principles, procedures, and court practices
• Proficient legal research skills (Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis)
• Excellent writing, drafting, communication, and negotiation abilities
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Prior legal administrative experience is a plus

Position Details :

In-person role, 32–40 hours per week

Competitive salary : starting at $110,000 / year DOE
