This role blends general obstetrics and gynecology with hospitalist responsibilities, teaching opportunities, and departmental leadership support. #### Practice Overview : Provide direct patient care in general obstetrics and gynecology Responsibilities include : - Outpatient visits (occasional) - Daytime laborist coverage on labor & delivery - Obstetric day and night call (in-house) - Gynecology call from home (in rotation) - Inpatient nighttime hospitalist duties including urgent and emergent gynecologic surgery Additional duties : - OB triage, labor management, postpartum care - ER coverage and emergency gynecologic surgeries - Inpatient consults and admissions Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students in labor & delivery, operating room, and inpatient wards Participate in departmental administrative meetings and quality initiatives #### Compensation & Benefits : Base salary : $272,400 – $304,400 Full benefits package including health, retirement, malpractice coverage, and CME Standard Monday–Friday 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM schedule #### About the Area : Sacramento, the capital of California, offers a vibrant blend of cultural amenities, diverse dining, and outdoor recreation.
