Roles and Responsibilities :

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using specialized imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of organs, tissues, and blood flow.

Review patient history and explain procedures to ensure comfort, safety, and accurate imaging.

Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, selecting appropriate settings based on examination needs.

Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to assist in the interpretation of diagnostic findings.

Maintain accurate patient records, document imaging results, and follow all clinical protocols.

Ensure equipment cleanliness, sterilize transducers, and follow infection control and safety guidelines.

Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and alert supervising clinicians to any urgent findings.

Assist in specialized ultrasound procedures such as OB / GYN, abdominal, vascular, cardiac, or musculoskeletal imaging.

Maintain continuing education to stay current with ultrasound technology and best practices.
