The Role
We are seeking driven Institutional Equity Sales professionals — from Associate to Vice President level — to join our expanding Investment Banking & Capital Markets practice. Ideal candidates are relationship‑oriented, highly communicative, and excited to work closely with institutional investors and public company issuers. This is a high‑exposure seat for individuals looking to accelerate their capital markets career and build a meaningful investor coverage footprint.
What You’ll Do
- Build and strengthen relationships with hedge funds, mutual funds, and family offices.
- Support the distribution of equity capital markets transactions including PIPEs, Registered Directs, Follow‑Ons, and ATMs.
- Manage the end‑to‑end roadshow process — both deal‑related and non‑deal‑related :
- Understand the company fundamentals and its capital markets opportunity.
- Effectively summarize the company story and opportunity into a sales memo for use by the team in any roadshow or investor outreach effort. Identify and maintain a target investor list. Monitor outreach progress and track investor engagement. Coordinate scheduling and attend investor meetings and roadshows. Collect and synthesize feedback into structured reports and decks for management and issuers.
- Conduct Investor Discovery Calls and onboard new investors for DVP and Prime Brokerage accounts — proactively ask relevant questions such as AUM, transaction size, structure preference, and industry preference to produce actionable feedback. Initiate, monitor, and manage the onboarding process in coordination with back office, ensuring all documentation and details are accurate.
- Track all investor outreach and maintain organized lists and progress reports for management visibility.
- Partner closely with Investment Banking, Syndicate, Trading, and Corporate Access teams on investor targeting and transaction marketing.
What You Bring
1–7 years of relevant experience in institutional equity sales or capital markets.Strong track record of executing and supporting equity offerings for public companies.Proven ability to work independently with attention to detail , manage processes, and follow up on tasks without requiring constant oversight.Excellent communication skills — both with investors and internal teams, including IT and Compliance.Ability to ask probing questions, gather relevant information, and deliver structured, actionable reports.Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment.FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required; Series 79 a plus.Candidate must be willing to be present in the Fort Lauderdale office daily.What We Offer
