  • Location : Los Alamos, NM 87544 (Northern New Mexico healthcare jobs)\n
  • Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 6 beds, 2 : 1 patient ratio\n
  • Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), alternating weekends\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 13 / 2025, End : 1 / 12 / 2026)\n
  • On-Call : As needed; must be within 30 minutes of hospital when on call\n
  • Float : May float to MedSurg, Emergency Room (ER), and other units\n
  • Electronic Health Record : Medhost Clinicals\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910\n

    • \n\nICU RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for New Mexico\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience\n
  • Current certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS\n
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing\n
  • Proficiency in ventilator management, titrating continuous medications, and ICU patient care\n
  • Fingerprinting and background check required (per New Mexico state regulations)\n
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to care for patients of all ages\n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU\n
  • Manage ventilators and titrate continuous IV medications\n
  • Monitor, assess, and respond promptly to changes in patient status\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans\n
  • Float to MedSurg, ER, and other clinical units as needed\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Medhost Clinicals\n
  • Participate in call rotation and respond within required timeframe\n
