Project Executive – Electrical Construction (Texas)

Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to oversee multiple large-scale electrical construction projects, providing high-level leadership, technical guidance, and operational oversight. This role is ideal for a senior construction professional experienced in managing major commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects while driving excellence in safety, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
As the Project Executive, you will provide direct oversight to Project Managers, partner closely with preconstruction and estimating teams, and serve as a key liaison between owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal operations from preconstruction through project completion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review owner contracts and ensure full compliance with project terms
- Lead development of master project schedules and project-specific quality control programs
- Identify critical issues, milestones, and project risk factors
- Review and approve budgets, scopes of work, and estimates with preconstruction teams
- Forecast project cost impacts and identify opportunities for value engineering
- Incorporate safety planning into all phases of project execution
- Oversee development of GMP or Lump Sum contracts
- Evaluate financial capability and performance readiness of subcontractors
- Conduct weekly and monthly job cost reviews and financial reporting
- Lead development and monitoring of look-ahead schedules
- Ensure strict adherence to company quality standards and control processes
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors to resolve constructability challenges
Requirements :
High school diploma / GED required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred7+ years of management experience with an electrical subcontractorStrong proficiency in MS applications, scheduling software, and BluebeamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality management, electrical systems, and construction documentationAbout the Candidate :
