Mustang Cat is actively hiring experienced Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Mechanics for both Shop Service and Field Service positions in Houston, Texas . If you're a skilled diesel technician with a passion for fixing earthmoving equipment , this is your opportunity to build a lasting career with a trusted Caterpillar® dealership .

What You’ll Do as a Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Mechanic :

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic , you'll inspect, service, diagnose, and repair Cat diesel-powered equipment and construction machinery , including :

• Set-up, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Component replacement (hydraulics, fuel systems, transmissions, undercarriage, electrical, etc.)
• Shop Service : Work with mentor technicians in a fully equipped shop
• Field Service : Operate from a company-provided service truck , servicing customers at their job sites
• Maintain high-quality standards and follow all safety procedures
