Construct New Tooling and troubleshoot and repair non functioning molds . Mold makers create and develop new molds for Plastic injection Molding, using the specifications that have been provided from a design team. Using desgn & blueprints, mold makers plans the molds they need to create by following instructions and sketches, work with specifications from the design team so they need to be familiar with prints and CAD programs for this aspect of the job. analyze tolerances for each component to make sure they’re appropriate

for the intended use. Ultimatly responsible for making sure the existing tooling and molds are effective, maintaining them regularly and repairing any damage when required. aid in moving, disassembly, cleaning, and troubleshooting molds and components in a safe and methodical manner. Has the basic tools, physical skills, and discipline to use specific prescribed methods / procedures for this work.

• Knowledge of Mold construction to construct, rebuild, and repair Molds
• Analyzes assembly design or blueprint and plans mold building
• Ensure work carried out is in compliance to company design, safety, quality, environmental compliance

and procedural standard.
