Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse - Immediate Care

POSITION SUMMARY : The nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergency, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

QUALIFICATIONS : Formal training, which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited school of nursing and current State licensure.

Preferred accomplishments include nursing experience and current CPR certification. Personal skills include a willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction; the ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to work compatibly with physicians, other department members, and clinic employees in other departments.

WORK SCHEDULE : First Week : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 8 AM - 8 PM, Sunday 1 PM - 8 PM Second week : Wednesday, Thursday, 8 AM - 8 PM
