• Visit clients in their home, assess patients' needs using observation, and assessments,
• Develop creative Recreation Therapy treatment plans and schedules that meet patients' needs and interests.
• Plan and implement interventions to support the client in meeting his or her goals.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities 2-3 times weekly, such as exercise, games, community outings and events.
• Ideal for an individual who enjoys people with a naturally positive personality
• Flexible learner essential
• Travel within the community required.
• Typical day includes 3 to 4 field appointments and 2-3 hours in office.
• Work week is Monday through Thursday with weekends off to enjoy
