BASIS Ahwatukee is seeking a Full-Time Monitor for the 2025 / 2026 school year!
The role of the Monitor is to monitor student activities, such as lunches, recesses, parking duty, and “Early Bird” and “Late Bird” school programs.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or higher
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a school or child care environment preferred.Responsibilities :
Monitor students to ensure safetyOversee students’ behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after schoolReport any unruly behavior to school managementInform supervisor of any damages to school propertyRespond to emergency situations, such as injuries or food allergies, with urgencyExercise sound judgement in carrying out dutiesAssist in front office support, as applicableMaintain regular, full, predictable attendanceSupervise individual students and / or groups of students during structured and unstructured timesAbout BASIS Ed
