Database-as-a-Service Engineer

A company is looking for a Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) Engineer responsible for building and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server clusters and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server clusters for enterprise applications

Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on hosted customer databases

Conduct performance tuning and manage database recovery to support business continuity

Required Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain)

7+ years of professional experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration and database engineering

Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and 2019, including clustering and high availability

Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration in support of Microsoft SQL infrastructure

At least one relevant industry certification such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
