FX SPOT Trader, VP / Director

The FX SPOT Trader is a senior level position responsible for overseeing a trading book and managing book risk in coordination with the Trading team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the trader delivers on budgeted revenues and to coordinate with key stakeholders to develop the trading franchise. We are looking for a multi‑faceted and highly resourceful individual who is adept at strategic risk‑taking, a proactive thought provider, and can make a significant impact on our portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a trading book as a Senior trader, generate revenues and manage risk for the FX SPOT business.
• Build & maintain a franchise and connect with key clients.
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, and other organizations across Markets & Securities Services and the broader business.
• Trade a book and deliver on budgeted revenues all while managing book risk, directly impacting the overall portfolio performance.
• Establish and maintain key relationships to deliver market share to the desk.
• Anticipate client demand in each respective product / market and facilitate large client trades.
• Coordinate with desk analysts as needed and partner strongly with Sales, Traders, and other team members to develop the franchise and manage and mentor junior traders as needed, inspiring others to achieve their full potential.
