Job descriptionStrong mathematic skills & unit conversion skills Strong organizational skills High attention to detail Completed Associates Degree / Bachelors Degree in manufacturing, engineering, electrical technology, or other related area or has completed requirements for certified / licensed Electrician and is in active good standing 5-10 years experience working on electrical components in an industrial setting and general maintenance experience Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus Medical coverage with BCBS. Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and Group Life Insurance with Principal. As a benefit to our employees, we also offer supplemental policies with Aflac and Legal / ID Shield. These plans are voluntary and premiums are paid 100% by the employee thru payroll deduction. After you have worked for Agru America for 90 days, you will begin accruing vacation at a rate of 1.54 hours per week until you reach 5 years of full time service. The accrual rate increases at 5 years of service, and 10 years of service. The 1st of the month following your 90th day of employment, you will be eligible to enroll in our 401k plan offered thru John Hancock. Free Virtual Doctor appointments with Ally Health.

Responsibilitie s
- The Industrial Electrician ensures that the machine working components and work areas are in safe condition. They are responsible for preventive maintenance and downtime machine repairs for the production process to be sure that high quality product is being made and proper machine standards are being followed.
- Ensures that all electrical components are in safe working order and well maintained.
- Plans the layout, installation, and repair wiring of electrical fixtures, motors, apparatus and control equipment.
- Installs, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, circuitry, control panels, fixtures, motors, and equipment in accordance with national Electrical Code specifications.
- Performs systematic electrical and electronic trouble-shooting.
