We have been sourcing premium Asian products since 1981. Only products that have been rigorously tested for quality will make it on our catalog. We are also constantly on the lookout for great new products to show our customers.
Eastland Food is looking for an outgoing individual a Marketing Officer.
The Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing all marketing activities for assigned brands and customers. This role will generate consumer insights to create marketing plans designed to drive business growth and profitability.
Accountabilities and responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term brand strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Define brand positioning and target audience, ensuring consistency across all marketing communications.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to generate actionable marketing insights.
- Conduct competitive analyses and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.
- Design and execute marketing programs that reflect the brand's identity and values.
- Collaborate as part of a cross-functional product development team to create marketing plans that support product launches.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities to achieve brand awareness and penetration goals.
- Prepare sales materials and conduct product training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective vendor management and fulfillment of business needs.
- Manage and track the marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Qualifications
1-3 years of progressive work experience in marketing, advertising, or a related fieldExperience working in food industry.Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, economics, statistics, or a related fieldDemonstrate success in consumer-centric brand strategies, including product launches and execution of sales and marketing efforts.Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.Preferred knowledge of specialty Asian cuisine, culture and language.Bilingual skills preferred (Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai).
