Responsibilities Work in both inpatient and outpatient CT settings Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics, with neonates and pediatrics rarely encountered Procedures require IV starts, contrast administration, and PACS proficiency Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems Day shift schedule : 5x8 hour shifts, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM Potential floating to a nearby sister campus approximately 3 miles away No on-call responsibilities required First-time travelers are accepted Scrub color is Caribbean Blue Holiday coverage is mandatory if one or two major holidays fall during the assignment; if three, two must be worked Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed; requests not permitted during the first week Modules and orientation hours are part of the assignment and completed during orientation Compliance is required prior to start, and delays may postpone start by 2 weeks Local candidates accepted at the same rate Permanent or PRN staff must be away from Piedmont facilities for at least one year to return as a traveler Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit No blocked scheduling is allowed Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience Current BLS and ARRT certification required GA or Compact license required if applicable Proficiency with IV starts, contrast injection, and PACS required Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems preferred Must provide up to two supervisory references for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627850.
