Managing Director, Head of Integrations The Head of Integrations plays a crucial role in leading integration efforts at Cresset. Reporting to the Head of Client Advisory, the role is responsible for orchestrating a seamless transition of clients, systems, data, processes, and people into the firm’s existing infrastructure while minimizing client disruption and ensuring compliance. This position plays a hands-on role in overseeing the end-to-end integration process, ensuring all objectives of mergers / acquisitions and team lift outs are successfully met. The successful candidate will work closely across Cresset and with newly acquired firms, demonstrating strong project management and communication skills and a detail- and solution- oriented approach to drive successful integration outcomes and positive client and advisor experiences. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Partner and work closely with Chief Growth O ff icer, Head of Client Advisory and other business development specialists to help convert pipeline of M&A and lift out targets Participate in late-stage conversations with prospective teams about transition and client experience Develop and maintain comprehensive integrated project plans to ensure alignment across cross-functional workstreams, enabling clear visibility into dependencies, milestones, and critical paths throughout the integration lifecycle Reduce transitional friction for incoming advisors and their clients by serving as an advocate and main point of contact while also balancing Cresset’s objectives and priorities Work closely in collaboration with other departments including but not limited to advisor practice management, client service, operations, compliance, reporting, billing, human resources, finance, technology, office experience and investment research to ensure proper delegation and completion of tasks Communicate project timelines, risks, and milestones clearly with department partners and appropriate leadership Review existing securities including ETFs, mutual funds, structured notes, etc., to ensure Cresset platform approval (temporary, permanent or not approved), custodial eligibility, and share class compatibility (map to Cresset platform) as well as any disparity in manager fees to resolve to benefit all parties Inventory alternative assets including hedge funds, private equity, and private credit Review potential future transition into approved strategies post-acquisition Coordinate Technology Stack Integration, Data Migration, and Reporting Participate in the tech and operational due diligence process during pre-merger assessments Analyze target firm systems and map over to Cresset’s standardized tech systems (e.g., CRM, Addepar, custodians, eMoney / financial planning tools) Solve any identified mismatching or compatibility issues Work with reporting team to develop client reports that work for legacy firm / team and their clients Work with operations to conduct audits and reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of migrated data across systems Work with operations, custodians, and reporting vendors to oversee initial feeds and data migration from client accounts including custodial data, alternative transactions, and historical performance Work with operations to facilitate onboarding with custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, etc.) and to link accounts to Cresset’s data feeds and billing systems Work with operations, manager research, and directly with custodians to set up managers if not already established at custodian Address any custodian pricing discrepancies between legacy firm’s contracts and Cresset’s arrangements and resolve to benefit all parties including but limited to lines of credit (rates and ratios), dividend in lieu credits and remedy any tri-party payoffs and / or balance transitional issues Map general workflows across lift out / firm acquired to ensure best practices Client onboarding with custodians, client service process and procedures, trading and rebalancing, Investment policy statements and other required client documentation Ensure that all clients, systems, and data meet SEC and internal compliance requirements Support compliance teams in retaining necessary documentation and audit trails post-integration Work with internal departments to develop and coordinate training for incoming advisors and sta ff about Cresset’s systems and processes Provide hands-on support and be the first point of contact during the transition period to minimize disruption and improve adoption of Cresset processes Create repeatable, documented integration playbooks for future M&A activity and team lift outs Recommend and implement architectural improvements to reduce friction in future Qualifications Qualifications : Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience leading complex integrations projects at an RIA required. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification a plus. Experience applying change management principles and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to engage collaboratively up, down and across the organization and with external partners and stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Collaborative style with proven experience successfully building and cultivating relationships. Established relationships with custodian partners. Expertise in Microsoft 365 including SharePoint and Power BI, Salesforce, Addepar, and other applications. High degree of professionalism and ability to perform successfully in a service-oriented, fast-paced, high-growth and frequently changing environment and aligned with Cresset’s values and culture What We Offer : At Cresset, we focus on people first. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses / certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location.
