Job Summary
This role is crucial for delivering expert perioperative care to patients through the effective use of equipment and instrumentation. As a scrub assistant to the physician, you will participate in operative and invasive procedures under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, while also using your expertise to serve as a role model for other staff.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to provide patient care that meets the specific needs of diverse patient populations across various life stages.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
Licenses / Certifications : Certified in Basic Life Support; Current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
