Unit : Med / Surg Rehab – Acute Inpatient Rehab

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 6, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 3x12-Hour Days (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : 4-5 shifts per contract

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1490 - $1600 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Compact RN license or Maryland Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg or Acute Inpatient Rehab RN experience

BLS certification (required)

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Ability to float to similar Med / Surg units as needed

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Strong time management and multitasking skills

Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers

RN Responsibilities – Acute Inpatient Rehab

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute inpatient rehab setting

Coordinate and manage patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring

Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living, ensuring safety for high falls risk populations

Prepare and transport patients to therapy appointments throughout the day

Utilize specialized nursing skills such as Heparin drip management, CAPD, tracheostomy care, G-tube and wound vac management

Perform assessments, document care, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Float to Med / Surg units as needed

Participate in orientation and required modules prior to start
