Package Highlights :

$665,000 Annual Base Salary, plus WRVU Incentive Program - 4-year Contract
$50,000 Signing Bonus
$20,000 Annual Education Loan Repayment
$15,000 Relocation Reimbursement
$3,000 Annual Continuing Education Stipend plus 5 Paid Days Off

Practice Highlights :

Employee of Samaritan Medical Center, a 290 bed not-for-profit hospital located in Watertown, New York

Non-cardiac position, with focus predominantly on thoracic surgery

New system is a robotic bronchoscopy system which combines navigational technology with a new robotic bronchoscope platform that allows for continues live camera during deployment of various tools which has previously not been possible, along with robotic micro movement control

Work within the same office with an un-opposed well-established group of five Board Certified Pulmonary / Critical Care Physicians

Medical Staff greater than 190 physicians; offering solid referral base

Catchment population : 250,000

New Xi da Vinci Robotics Surgical System

Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery System

Large network of providers offers a strong referral base

Very appreciative patient population making for a rewarding career

Well-established lung cancer screening program

Hospital based newly constructed comprehensive cancer center, Fall 2018

Teaching opportunities with accredited ACGME / AOA Family Medicine & Internal Medicine

Qualifications :

Board Certification Thoracic Surgery

Ideally 5 to 10 years of experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Appreciation for Patient Centered Care

Ability to work within Team
