Position Summary
The Support Specialist Senior – Large Load Integration provides high-level administrative and project coordination support for the integration of large flexible loads into the system. This role works closely with Market Participants, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently, documentation remains compliant with regulations, and all processes are tracked and updated accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Project Support
- Provide advanced administrative and project coordination support to assigned departments.
- Maintain calendars, track due dates, and manage schedules related to large load interconnection request studies.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions.
- Handle procurement requests and associated documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of privileged information at all times.
Data & Documentation Management
Collect and process engineering data from internal and external providers.Ensure proper formatting, scheduling, and submission of data.Organize and publish data / reports on websites and internal systems.Maintain and update project documentation to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.Process & Workflow Coordination
Support the change request process (NOMCR and SAMR) from initiation to completion.Update and maintain internal tracking systems for all assigned projects.Work independently on standard tasks, escalating complex issues as needed.Research data thoroughly to ensure quality and accuracy in deliverables.Stakeholder Engagement
Interface regularly with Market Participants for project updates.Build and maintain trust with both internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and drive project progress.Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and quality standards.Utilize software tools effectively for project tracking, process mapping, and reporting.Required Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (preferred).Experience : Minimum 5+ years of relevant administrative or project coordination experience beyond degree requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project collaboration tools (e.g., Jira).Experience with process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio.Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.Ability to interpret and implement regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in stakeholder management.Background working with regulatory bodies or compliance-driven environments.Strong understanding of project lifecycle, risk management, scheduling, and resource planning.CAP (Certified Administrative Professional) certification.Work Environment & Schedule
Hybrid role : Minimum two days per week on-site at the Taylor, TX facility; additional on-site days as determined by business needs.May require occasional travel for meetings or training.
