Principal Data Architect

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Principal Data Architect to work on a 12-month+ contract with an option to hire if the fit is right in Raleigh, NC. This position is hybrid work, with on-site 3 days and 2 days remotely.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate : $95 / hour - $115 / hour w-2

Responsibilities :

• Define and drive the long-term data architecture vision and provide strategic data leadership for the organization
• Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable ingestion and transformation patterns, establishing Snowflake FinOps practices and enterprise standards for Data Vault, dbt, and ingestion tooling.
• Spearhead research initiatives in emerging data technologies and architectural paradigms
• Shape enterprise-wide data governance policies and standards
• Provide thought leadership and industry influence
• Represent the organization at high-profile industry events and conferences
• Mentor senior data professionals and foster a culture of innovation

Experience in regulated industries such as banking, healthcare, or insurance

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available and that may result in pay outside of the range provided.
