The unit has 30 beds. Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 5 to 1 : 6, with occasional 1 : 7. Cases seen may include patients following bronchoscopy or chest tube procedures. Nurses will be required to float to similar units as needed. There is a weekend and holiday requirement of every other weekend and alternating holidays. Candidates must have a valid Massachusetts nursing license. This role is important for delivering quality care to patients in a dynamic telemetry environment.
