Position Summary

As an Equipment Technician, you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing and / or system operations, working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks. You will provide system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documentation following standard operating procedures, rework and quality testing related to the production of memory chips and logic. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data and conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) / Change Point Management (CPM) / System Maintenance : follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment / processes / systems run effectively.
  • Troubleshooting : conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
  • Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looking for ways to improve processes.
  • Working collaboratively on a fast-paced team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Any 2-year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC, etc.); 3+ ASE certs or 4 years Semiconductor Technician experience or 4 years equivalent technical Military service.
  • Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Familiar with TPM concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and task-oriented; places high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs.

  • Compensation

    The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60 / hour – $60.40 / hour. Total compensation will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs.

    Shifts

  • B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6 : 45 pm – 7 : 15 am) with alternating Saturdays.
  • D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6 : 45 pm – 7 : 15 am) with alternating Saturdays.
