Overview

OVERVIEW : Under the direction and supervision of the Associate Vice President / Chief of Public Safety or his designee provide emergency medical care to ensure professional medical coverage of students, during hours when the Student Health Center is closed, as well as provide coverage for faculty / staff and visitors of Providence College.

Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Provide emergency care to the student population on campus to include triage, treatment and stabilization of patients according to RIDPH protocols and Providence College EMS Policies and Procedures. (40%)
• Complete all documentation as appropriate to all emergency calls. Report any and all incidents, problems, and unusual circumstances to the EMS Chief and the Office of Public Safety on-duty Supervisor when indicated. (10%)
• Provide follow-up with students who required emergency care during the previous shift via phone call to address any questions or concerns the student may have (weekend shifts only). (5%)
