Job description

Work Qualifications :

Formal education : No specific educational requirements.
Experience : No specific experience required.
Computer Skills : Must be able to use common office software systems computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system.
Certificates and Licenses : Royal forklift certification required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure proper packaging of the parts according to contract carrier and customer specifications.

Able to read and understand contracts and specifications.

Work in customer portals to ship items as required by contract and customer requirements

Inspect and check all paperwork for accuracy prior to shipping any parts.

Examine and inspect containers materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.

Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates.

Work with various departments especially scheduling to communicate schedule requirements for on-time shipment.

Coordinate with packagers.

Maintain customer relations.

Package materials as required by customer specifications.

Examine contents and compare with records such as invoices to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments.

Professional Competencies :

Strong communications skills.

Able to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

Takes initiative to find other duties when assigned tasks are completed.
